John Phiasiripanyo has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. John began their career as a Cyber Transport Specialist in the United States Air Force from 1995 to 2001. John then worked as a Supervisor, Inside Plant from 2001 to 2004, and later as a Lead Supervisor, Voice Systems And Quality Assurance from 2004 to 2007.

From 2007 to 2010, John served as the Operations Lead at the Pacific Air Forces Network Operations Center, where they directed a 28-member crew responsible for the security and monitoring of a $400M enterprise network.

In 2010, John became a Manager of Plans and Programs for the Air Force ISR Engineering and Installation and Civil Engineering unit, where they managed IT and Civil Engineer project managers supporting classified communications and intelligence systems.

From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Senior Manager, Air Force Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Cyber Manpower and Training, responsible for the organization, equipment, and training of cyber professionals across global locations.

In 2013, John was promoted to the position of Senior Manager of Plans, Resources, and Operations, where they led divisions responsible for IT project management, United States Postal Service operations, and long-haul communications.

In 2016, they became the Chief of Staff at the United States Air Force, where they managed cyber operations, knowledge management, and IT quality assurance, among other responsibilities.

John then moved on to work at the U.S. Cyber Command in 2019 as a Senior Advisor to the Operations Director. John provided advice on workforce issues and played a key role in the security and defense of the Department of Defense Information Network.

Their most recent position, starting in 2020, was as a Senior Advisor to the Executive of Operations and Infrastructure at DISA. In this role, they served as a principle advisor on all matters related to personnel and coordination of capabilities and services for the Department of Defense Information Network.

Currently, John is working at Cyemptive Technologies Inc. as a Corporate Fellow and the VP of the Security Operations Center, starting in 2023.

John Phiasiripanyo has a diverse education history. John earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Studies from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2005. In the same year, they also obtained a certification in Electronic Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.

John later pursued a Master of Science in Information Technology Management from Trident University International, which they completed from 2008 to 2011. During this time, their field of study focused on Management Information Systems, General.

In 2017, John attended Air University and completed the Chief Master Sergeant Leadership Academy. This program emphasized Military and Strategic Leadership.

In addition to their formal education, John Phiasiripanyo has obtained several certifications. These include the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification in 2013, the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from EC-Council in 2019, and the Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) certification from ISACA in 2020.

John's pursuit of knowledge and professional development continued, as they obtained further certifications such as the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in 2021, the Veterans Career Readiness Program Alumni certification from FourBlock in 2022, and the CompTIA Cloud Essentials+ Certification in the same year.

Looking to expand their skill set, John Phiasiripanyo acquired the ITIL 4 ® Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2023. Furthermore, they completed the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute in 2022.
