Suresh Kannan

Suresh Kannan has over 20 years of work experience. Suresh currently serves as a Program Manager at CYFIRMA. Previously, they worked at Fidelity Investments for 17 years, where they held several positions, including Director, Senior Project Manager, and Project Manager. Suresh'sresponsibilities included leading the development and maintenance of Health and Welfare products, implementing Agile methodology, and managing critical Securities lending projects involving transactions via SWIFT and NAV closure to SEC. Before joining Fidelity, they worked as a Product Manager at Scope International, where they led the service delivery of the Cash management side of the bank/treasury. Additionally, Suresh worked as a Project Leader at Polaris Financial Technology Limited, where they were responsible for setting up an offshore development team for the merchant banking division of Citibank. Suresh began their career as a Software Engineer at Lambent and was responsible for the fixed assets module, as well as conducted corporate trainings for organizations like TVS, Seshasayee paper and boards limited, and Tube Investments group.

Suresh Kannan earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Madurai Kamaraj University in 1995 and a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from Bharathidasan University in Tiruchirappalli between 1996 and 1999. Additionally, Suresh has obtained a variety of certifications in various fields, including Lean Six Sigma, cybersecurity, finance, cloud computing, and agile software development. The most recent certification obtained by Suresh was in May 2023 for Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from ISEL GLOBAL - Six Sigma Certification & PMP Certification Institute.
