Ryan Shucard

Ryan Shucard has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and public relations. Ryan is currently working as the Director of Communications at Cygnal since May 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Principal at RhinoComms starting from January 2021. Ryan also worked as the Owner of Tribar Properties LLC from January 2021 onwards. Ryan has held the position of Director of Public Relations at Liberty Blockchain from April 2022 to May 2023. Ryan was the Vice President of Public Affairs at JPA Health from November 2020 to April 2022. Before that, they worked as the Vice President of Media Relations at 720 Strategies from November 2016 to November 2020. Ryan has also served as the Communications Director, Ohio at the Republican National Committee from July 2016 to November 2016. Ryan started their career in the U.S. House of Representatives as the Press Secretary for Rep. Tom Marino (R-PA) from March 2014 to February 2016. Ryan's earlier experience includes working as the Media Relations Manager at the American Retirement Association from September 2013 to March 2014, and as an Associate in Campaign Services at DDC Advocacy from February 2013 to September 2013.

Ryan Shucard attended the University of Northern Colorado from 2006 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism with a focus on Public Relations & Advertising. During their time at the university, they also pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government, specifically in International Relations. In 2009, they briefly studied Poltical Communications and Journalism at The George Washington University.
