Dr Tieshan Yang

Dr. Tieshan Yang is an experienced optics engineer currently working at Cylite Pty Ltd since January 2023, focusing on the development of advanced diagnostic OCT systems for ophthalmology. Prior to this role, Dr. Yang served as a research scientist for quantum technology at Archer Materials Limited from April 2022 to January 2023, contributing to the development of semiconductor devices and processor chips related to quantum computing. Dr. Yang's academic career includes postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Technology Sydney and the ARC Centre of Excellence for Transformative Meta-Optical Systems, where research centered on quantum emission control in heterostructures. Previous roles include positions at Swinburne University of Technology, National University of Singapore, and Beijing University of Technology, underscoring a strong background in nanophotonics and optical engineering.
