Paul Quinlan

Paul Quinlan is the current General Counsel and Secretary at Cymabay Therapeutics. Prior to this, they served as General Counsel at Metabolex, Inc. from October 2005 to May 2010. From February 2000 to October 2005, they served as Chief Corporate Securities Counsel at Maxygen, Inc. Paul has also worked as an Associate at Cooley LLP from January 1998 to February 2000 and at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP from January 1994 to December 1998.

Paul Quinlan began their educational career by studying molecular genetics at the University of Toronto - University of St. Michael's College, where they completed a B.Sc. in the field. Paul then pursued a M.Sc. in biophysics at the University of Toronto before moving on to law school. Paul Quinlan completed their J.D. at Queen's University and then went on to complete an L.LM. at Columbia Law School.
