Shejin Zhu (Sarah)

Sarah Zhu has a diverse work experience in the field of medical writing and research. Shejin (Sarah) currently holds the position of Associate Director of Medical Writing at CymaBay Therapeutics since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Director at Capricor Therapeutics, Inc. from 2022 to 2023. Shejin (Sarah) also has experience at Exelixis, where they worked as a Senior Medical Writer from 2020 to 2022, and as a Medical Writer from 2018 to 2020. Before joining Exelixis, they worked at Dynavax Technologies as a Senior Medical Writing Associate from 2015 to 2017 and as a Drug Safety Associate from 2017 to 2018. Shejin (Sarah) began their career at Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research, where they held various roles as a Scientist and Scientific Associate from 2005 to 2014.
