James Cook is an experienced aerospace engineer currently employed at CymSTAR, LLC since September 2012. Prior to this position, Cook served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2007 to August 2012, where significant contributions included the development of a coupling interface for unstructured Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) and Computational Structural Dynamic (CSD) solvers, as well as validation of the methodology using Peters’ flexible airfoil theory in 2D incompressible flutter analysis. James Cook earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2014 and previously obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University in 2006.
