Baxter Lee has a diverse work experience in various industries. Baxter started their career as an Associate at Cambridge Associates in 2003 and later joined Merrill Lynch Capital as an Assistant Vice President in Healthcare Underwriting in 2005. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as an Associate in the Private Equity Group at Harbert Management Corporation.
In 2010, Baxter joined Emdeon, where they held multiple positions, including Director of Corporate Development, Senior Director of Financial Planning & Strategy for Ambulatory Services, and Vice President of Finance & Strategy for Payer Services. During their time at Emdeon, they played a key role in financial planning, strategic initiatives, and executing mergers and acquisitions.
From 2013 to 2018, Baxter held various roles at different companies. Baxter served as a Mentor at Jumpstart Foundry, an Advisor at Utilize Health, and a Partner at The Compost Company, focusing on organic waste recycling. Additionally, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Entrada, a mobile health documentation platform acquired by NexGen Healthcare, and currently holds the same position at Clearwater, a healthcare cybersecurity firm.
Throughout their career, Baxter has gained expertise in financial planning, strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and leadership roles in the healthcare industry.
Baxter Lee completed their Executive MBA from Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Washington and Lee University from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration.
