Michael Lawrence has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Michael began their career as an Engineering Scientist Associate at Applied Research Laboratories, where they developed MATLAB code for mine detection simulations. Michael then worked as an Analyst at Accenture, where they developed a web portal and analyzed supply chain processes.

Michael also worked at Washington Consulting as a Senior Consultant, supporting various healthcare contracts and business development efforts. Michael later joined IBM as a Market Development and Insights MBA Intern, gaining experience in market research and analysis.

After completing their MBA at Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business, Michael joined Boehringer Ingelheim as a Project Manager, where they assessed business processes and analyzed financial forecasting.

Michael then became the Owner of PMX LLC, a concrete polishing and caulking services company, before taking on the role of CEO at True Autonomy. Currently, they are the Director of Business Development at Cyngn, an industrial autonomous vehicle technology company. Their responsibilities at Cyngn include overseeing business development strategies for their flagship autonomous driving solution, DriveMod.

Michael Lawrence earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Rice University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006.
