Raman Zharkou has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software development. Raman started their career in 2000 as a Software Development Engineer and Development Manager at The Industrial Technologies Group of Aviation Engineering "Aeromash", where they worked on flight simulators for Yak-18T, L-39, and MiG-29B planes. In this role, they developed modules for network interaction, acoustic noise, plane systems, and GUI.
Raman then moved on to work as a Support Engineer at Invention Machine in 2005, where they analyzed and fixed problems, redesigned modules, and corresponded with customers for GoldFire Innovator and GoldFire Server innovation software.
In 2005, Raman joined Eagle Dynamics as a Software Development Engineer, where they contributed to the development of LockOn and Ka-50 Black Shark flight simulators. Raman worked on artificial intelligence, navigation computer, and the flight simulator sound engine.
From 2006 to 2017, Raman worked at Silvaco as a Senior Development Engineer, focusing on the SmartSpice and SmartSpicePro circuit simulators. Raman was responsible for various modules such as cell characterization, post-processor, hierarchical parser, circuit rubberbanding, and signal integrity package.
In 2017, Raman returned to Cyngn as a Senior C++ Developer. Raman was involved in the development of an autonomous shuttle, working on drivers for different devices, vehicle health management, GPS evaluation, vehicle system provisioning, and continuous integration pipeline.
In 2019, Raman joined Starsky Robotics as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on an autonomous truck project. Raman'sresponsibilities included developing drivers for cabin controls, pedal calibration algorithm, radar improvements, diagnostic enhancements, and common core library improvements.
Currently, Raman Zharkou is working at Cyngn as a Principal Software Engineer, focusing on autonomous driving software for commercial and industrial machines. Raman reports directly to the Vice President of Engineering.
From 1995 to 2000, Raman Zharkou attended the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, where they obtained a master's degree in engineer-systems analysis.
