Paul Mannion

Paul Mannion, PhD, has extensive work experience in various roles within the engineering and photonics industries. Paul is currently the Director of Systems Engineering at Cynosure, LLC. Prior to this, they served as a Product Manager at Rockley Photonics Inc. from 2021 until their current position. Paul also worked as a Senior Staff Engineer at BD from 2020 to 2021. In their earlier career, they held positions as a Product Manager and Application Engineer at IPG Photonics from 2016 to 2019. Paul worked at BostonScientific as an R&D Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, and Process Development Engineer from 2007 to 2015. Additionally, they were a Research Engineer at the National Centre for Laser Applications in Ireland from 2006 to 2007. Paul'scareer began as an R&D Engineer at Medtronic in 2005.

Paul Mannion received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Science from Trinity College Dublin from 1997 to 2001. Subsequently, they pursued a PhD in Physics at the University of Galway, which they completed from 2001 to 2005.
