Ping Zhang

Ping Zhang has a strong background in clinical research and medical affairs, with experience working in various roles and companies. Ping is currently the Head of Clinical Research/Sr. Manager, APAC at Cynosure, LLC. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Clinical & Medical Affairs, Greater China at B. Braun China, where they led registration trials and post-market studies, as well as provided strategic leadership for medical and clinical plans. Ping also worked as a Research Scientist at Erasmus MC, conducting scientific research on cardiovascular epidemiology. Ping has also held positions at various other companies, including as a Medical Manager at a pharmaceutical company, a Sr. Medical Affairs Specialist at a medical device company in the US, and in an ICU-Thoracic Surgery role at Shanghai Tongji University-affiliated Hospital. Overall, Ping Zhang has extensive expertise in the field of clinical research and medical affairs.

Ping Zhang's education history begins in 2014 when they attended the University of Liverpool, where they received a Master of Public Health degree. From 2017 to 2018, Ping Zhang enrolled at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) as a Scientific Research Scholar, focusing on Preventive Medicine with a specialization in Cardiovascular Disease Prevention. Following that, from 2018 to 2020, they pursued a degree in Evidence-based Health Care (CVD) at the University of Oxford. Most recently, from 2021 to 2022, Ping Zhang attended Harvard University as a Global Clinical Research Scholar, concentrating on Clinical Trials.
