Robb Dettmer

Project Manager/Sr. Systems Engineer/Global Task Lead at CyOne

Robb Dettmer has an extensive work history with significant leadership roles in military intelligence. Robb served as a Battalion Commander, Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, Brigade Intelligence Officer, and Troop Command Intelligence Officer in various Army units. Robb was also a Security Forces Advisor and Deputy Team Commander in Afghanistan. Robb used their skills and expertise as a Senior Systems Engineer to develop systems engineering processes and requirements for a number of high-profile Department of Defense intelligence systems projects. Starting in 2015, they served as a Project Manager, Senior Systems Engineer, and Global Task Lead for CyOne, where they designed, developed and integrated engineering processes and requirements for data analysis and visualization systems. Robb also worked as a spiritual/personal counselor and mentor to United States Military Academy cadets at America’s premier leadership institution and the US Army’s largest military post. Most recently, they joined the 71st Enhanced Military Intelligence Brigade as their Chief of Staff/Executive Officer, where they are responsible for the synchronization and execution of all staff functions.

Robb Dettmer received a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering, with a double minor in German and Spanish, from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2000. Robb then attended the US Army Command and General Staff College from 2014 to 2018 for an unspecified degree program. In 2019, they completed the Information Operations Officer Qualification program at the US Army Combined Arms Center. Later that same year, they pursued a Masters of Science and Technology Commercialization, specializing in Entrepreneurial and Small & Large Business Operations, at the Texas McCombs School of Business, which they completed in 2020.
