Rodrigo Mendes

Rodrigo Mendes is a highly experienced swimming coach with a diverse background in athletic coaching and management. Currently serving as Head Coach at Weston YMCA Family Center and Swimming & Diving Head Coach at Cypress Bay High School since 2023, Rodrigo also holds the position of Head Age Group Coach at Midtown Athletic Clubs since 2018. A Florida Gold Coast certified coach, Rodrigo has been actively involved in swimmer development, creating swimming methodologies, and organizing competitive meet logistics. Previous coaching roles include Head Coach at Coral Springs Swim Club and Age Group Head Coach with a focus on technique and team motivation. Rodrigo's management experience encompasses roles such as General Manager at Corpus Fitness Escola De Educacao Fisica and Director of Sales Division at DM&M Consultoria Empresarial. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Physical Education from Universidade São Judas Tadeu, a Master Coach degree from RR Institute, and a Graduate degree in Physical Development from Centro Universitário FMU | FIAM-FAAM.
