Rick Borecki

Rick Borecki has over 20 years of experience in project management and construction within the renewable energy sector. Rick began their career at CG Power Solutions USA in 2004 as a Project Manager for Electrical Engineering and EPC Projects. From 2009 to 2011, they worked at AVANGRID as a Project Manager for Utilities and EPC Projects. Rick then joined Duke/Progress Energy as a Project Manager for Utilities from 2011 to 2013. Rick joined NextEra Energy Resources in 2013 as the Senior Project Construction Manager Regional Lead, overseeing construction management teams and projects focused on distributed generation and renewable energy. In 2021, they took on the role of Senior Vice President, Construction at Dynamic Energy, where they later served as the Chief EPC Officer. Currently, Rick is the Head of Project Execution at Cypress Creek Renewables since 2023.

Rick Borecki obtained certificates in Explosives/Ordnance technician and Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, General from the United States Navy. Additionally, they completed a program in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician through the TWCC/ODU PACE program while serving in the US Navy. Rick also holds a Procore Certified: Project Manager (Core Tools) certification from Procore Technologies, obtained in 2022.
