Wilson de Carvalho

Wilson de Carvalho's work experience starts in 2005 as an Automation Technician at ORTENG Equipamentos e Sistemas Ltda. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Software Engineer at CEMIG. In 2008, they joined Axxiom as a Software Engineer, where they worked until 2014. During their time at Axxiom, they were responsible for technical leadership, data engineering, software engineering, and systems' integration. In 2008, they also worked as an Information Technology Consultant at APTA Sistemas de Automação.

From 2011 to 2017, Wilson co-founded Pxyon Tecnologias, where they worked as a Co-Founder and Software Engineer. Wilson'srole included designing and implementing a parallel and distributed CPU-intensive system using graphs to reduce technical losses in medium voltage circuits.

In 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, where they researched and implemented ParallelME, a framework to improve performance and reduce complexity of parallel applications in mobile devices.

From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer at Axxiom - Tecnologia e Inovação, where they were involved in the specification and development of graph-based applications for the medium voltage power system.

In 2017, Wilson worked as the VP of Engineering at Kunumi. From 2018 to 2020, they co-founded and worked at 3778.

Currently, Wilson is working at Cyral as a Software Engineer and recently transitioned into the role of Software Engineering Manager.

Wilson de Carvalho completed their education in a chronological order. Wilson first attended SENAI from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Industrial Technology/Technician. Wilson then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at Universidade FUMEC - Oficial from 2003 to 2007. Finally, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, where they studied from 2014 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Wilson also obtained several certifications. In May 2013, they completed the "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" course from Coursera. In May 2014, they obtained a certificate in "Think Again: How to Reason and Argue" from Coursera Verified Certificates. In April 2016, they completed the "Machine Learning" course and obtained a certificate from Coursera Course Certificates. In September 2017, they acquired a certification in "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" from Coursera.

Furthermore, Wilson has also achieved language proficiency certifications. In December 2009, they obtained the "Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)" from the University of Cambridge. Additionally, they achieved a "IELTS - General Training - Band 7" certification from the British Council in May 2015.
