Virginie Hoareau

Virginie Hoareau is currently the Executive Director (Research) at Deakin University. With over 20 years of financial and leadership experience, she provides leadership and operational management to the research office, as well as contributing strategically to the Division and broader University. Her career has spanned the financial, health, media & entertainment and higher education sectors. Her experience co-founding a start-up in the early years of her career, followed by consulting for local accounting firms, has contributed to her strong business acumen. Virginie is a member of CPA Australia and holds an undergraduate degree and MBA from Deakin University.
