Ophir Veinish

Ophir Veinish began their career in 2003 as a Developer Engineer in the Israel Defense Forces - Military Intelligence. In 2007, they worked as a Developer at Tripletec, developing and maintaining a CRM system. In 2010, they joined FMR as a Senior Software Developer, developing top technology front and back end systems for stock market trading. In 2013, they co-founded Shoptimal, a venture that was part of the Junction accelerator's 10th wave. In 2014, they became the Tech Lead at Furious Corp., where they were responsible for planning and implementation of server/client components. In 2016, they joined FST Biometrics as a Senior Software Engineer (Backend and Algorithms), where they worked with Java, Python, C++, computer vision, deep neural networks, AWS, Google Cloud, Linux, and various performance improvement tools. In 2018, they joined Preciate.me as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented computer vision algorithms and supporting technologies. In 2020, they joined SentinelOne as a Senior Software Engineer, working on a SaaS platform backend group. Currently, they are the Backend Lead at Cyrus Security, where their mission is to make people safer and democratize security.

Ophir Veinish obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Reichman University (IDC Herzliya) between 2007 and 2010.
