Mark Skomal

Mark Skomal has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Mark is currently serving as the SVP Chief Accounting Officer at CyrusOne since September 2018. Prior to this, they held the position of SVP Chief Accounting Officer and Controller at DCT Industrial Trust Inc from May 2007 to August 2018. Mark has also worked as the VP of Finance at AIMCO from April 2004 to March 2007 and as an AIMCO Consultant from June 2001 to April 2004. Before that, they worked as a Controller at Vanenburg Business Systems from August 1997 to June 2001 and as the CFO/Controller at Specialty Sports Inc from January 1992 to August 1997. Mark started their career as a CPA at Ernst & Young, where they worked from January 1986 to December 1991. Throughout their career, Mark has gained extensive experience in the fields of accounting, finance, and consulting.

Mark Skomal earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the Texas McCombs School of Business between 1983 and 1985. Mark later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Finance at the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business from 1999 to 2001.
