Sid-Ali TEIR

Sid-Ali TEIR's work experience includes several roles in the field of embedded systems and software engineering.

Sid-Ali is currently working as a Senior Embedded System Engineer at CYSEC since March 2022.

Prior to that, from September 2020, Sid-Ali served as the Co-Founder & CTO at EasyPanel.

Before their role at EasyPanel, they worked at Avnet as an Embedded & Architecture Software Engineer from January 2020 to October 2021.

From 2016 to 2019, Sid-Ali worked at Witekio, where they started as a Junior Software Engineer in Embedded Development from October 2016 to September 2017. Sid-Ali then transitioned to the role of Software Engineer in Embedded Development from October 2017 to November 2019. At Witekio, Sid-Ali gained experience in C/C++ programming, microprocessor and ARM programming using Linux Kernel Architecture environments, as well as system integration for advanced hardware using Yocto-Buildroot and update system SW update-mender.

In 2016, Sid-Ali worked at NXP Semiconductors as an Embedded Software Engineer, specifically focusing on security development on embedded systems. During their tenure, they were involved in building kernel images, Busybox, u-boot, and integration of new packages using Buildroot. Sid-Ali also worked on ARM TrustZone technology on i.MX6Q board, improving the crypto library of Trusted Execution Environment (op-tee) from Linaro, integrating PKCS#11 software cryptographic module interaction with TEE token, and developing an OpenSSL engine to interact with PKCS#11 to perform crypto operations through TEE.

In 2015, Sid-Ali held a position at Opal-RT Technologies as a Software Engineer, specializing in drivers development. Sid-Ali'sresponsibilities included working with various communication protocols such as Generic TCP/IP and UDP, Serial Protocols (RS232/RS485), Modbus, OPC UA, and others.

Overall, Sid-Ali TEIR has a diverse background in embedded system engineering and software development, with a strong focus on security and communication protocols.

Sid-Ali TEIR completed their Bachelor's Degree in Preparatory classes at INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon from 2011 to 2013. Sid-Ali then pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronic and Software Engineering at the same institution from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, from 2014 to 2015, they obtained another Master's Degree in Embedded Systems & Electronic Engineering from École de technologie supérieure.

Sid-Ali has also obtained several certifications, including TPM Advanced Security from SCADEMY Secure Coding Academy Ltd. in March 2023. Sid-Ali earned the TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) Certification from the TOEIC® Program in February 2016. In June 2015, they completed the Control of Mobile Robots certification from Georgia Institute of Technology. In April 2015, Sid-Ali received a Certificate from ÉTS (École de Techonoglie Supérieure) at Montréal. Sid-Ali also obtained the Understand µC certificate from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in February 2015. Lastly, they achieved the BIA (Brevet d’initiation aéronautique) certification from the Ministère de l'Écologie, du Développement durable et de l’Énergie in March 2007.
