Elizabeth Thompson

Elizabeth Thompson is an experienced fundraising and development professional with a strong track record in nonprofit leadership. Currently serving as Senior Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation since August 2011, Elizabeth has been instrumental in developing fundraising strategies for the organization's flagship event, Great Strides, which has raised over $40 million. Elizabeth also led the launch of several key endurance fundraising programs, managing corporate partnerships and overseeing staff efforts in logistics and marketing. Prior experience includes roles at the National MS Society, where Elizabeth managed mass market event campaigns, and Flatiron Athletic Club, where Elizabeth focused on membership sales and event coordination. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
