Liz Heffernan

Liz Heffernan has a diverse and extensive work experience. Liz is currently working as the Human Resources Director at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a role they began in January 2024. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Manager of HR Compliance & Operations and HR Compliance Manager at the same organization. Liz also held the position of Senior HR Operations Analyst from July 2019 to March 2022.

Before joining the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Liz worked at NPR as an HR Project Manager from May 2019 to July 2019. Liz also has a long history with Discovery Inc, starting as a Legal Assistant in Corporate Legal in September 2008 and eventually transitioning into roles such as Senior Legal Assistant in Employment Legal, Contract Manager for Employment Legal, Benefits Analyst, and HR Integration Operations Analyst.

Throughout their career, Liz has gained expertise in various aspects of human resources, including compliance, operations, project management, and legal matters.

Liz Heffernan earned a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Notre Dame in 2003. Liz later pursued a Master of Arts degree in English at DePaul University.
