Rob Rountree

Rob Rountree has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Rob started their career in 2003 as an Artist Manager at Hazard Chase Limited, where they managed the careers of international artists and played a crucial role in the company's IT requirements. Rob organized international tours, negotiated concert fees, trained and managed Assistant Artist Managers, and provided advice on IT systems and initiatives. In 2011, they joined Cannon Tomlinson Mansley Ltd as a Web Applications Senior Developer, where they quickly progressed from a Junior Developer. Rob built and maintained web applications for clients such as Orange and O2, developed expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and gained knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, C#, MS SQL, and IIS. Rob also managed client projects and development team planning. In 2012, at Transversal, Rob held the role of User Experience Designer, where they introduced a new UX role to make product design a cross-departmental function. Rob served clients including the BBC, Barclays, M&S, and John Lewis before the company was acquired by Verint in 2019. From 2017 to 2021, Rob worked at Royal Society of Chemistry as a Senior Front-end Developer, leading the Vue.js development of a new version of marinlit. Rob collaborated with in-house product teams and external suppliers to improve product quality, usability, and accessibility. Most recently, Rob worked as a Front-end Engineer at Exscientia from 2021 to 2022, contributing to front-end development projects. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Software Engineer at Cyted, starting in November 2022.

Rob Rountree obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Anglia Ruskin University from 2000 to 2003.
