Timothy Romberger

Mr. Romberger co-founded Cyteir Therapeutics with Dr. Kevin Mills in 2012, serving as its acting Chief Executive and head of Business Development through the Fall of 2015.  Mr. Romberger played an instrumental role in the engagement of Celgene as an early strategic partner and the closing of both the Series A and Series B investment rounds. He is an experienced business strategist and entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience advising CEOs and their leadership teams in the areas of strategy, commercial effectiveness and organizational development.  Formerly a Managing Director at Marakon, Mr. Romberger currently runs his own business strategy consulting firm, TRC Advisory, LLC, based in Chicago, IL.  He holds a degree in Economics and Corporate Finance from the Wharton School of Business.  Mr. Romberger remains actively involved with Cyteir Therapeutics through his Board role, Audit committee Chair and in the capacity as a strategic advisor to the current leadership team.
