Alexandre Buer

Alexandre Buer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries, with their most recent position being the Director of Software Engineering at Cytel. Prior to that, they worked as an Algorithmic Software Engineer at the same company, where they implemented a network algorithm for statistical analysis and developed a graphical user interface for a web application.

Before joining Cytel, Alexandre was an Analyst Programmer Principal Leader at CSC, where they led a technical team in developing a traffic noise modeling software. Alexandre also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Opsec Security/Genuone, where they were responsible for developing an order management and supply chain system.

Alexandre's previous roles include working as a Software Engineer at Banta Integrated Media, where they developed and maintained a Java web application. Alexandre also worked as a Software Engineer at the Broad Institute of MIT, developing a data mining pipeline and integrating bioinformatics algorithms.

In addition, Alexandre has experience as a Software Engineer at MIT Media Lab, where they designed and developed filters, evaluated maintenance system performance, and performed data mining.

Early in their career, Alexandre worked as a teacher and system administrator at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Alexandre also worked as a Software Engineer at River Logic, Inc and as a Product Development Manager at National Filter Media, where they managed new product development, provided technical support, and developed software systems.

Alexandre Buer holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from the Université Jean Monnet Saint-Etienne. Additionally, Alexandre has a Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering from the Université de Haute-Alsace Mulhouse-Colmar.
