Maria Waliullah

Maria Waliullah has extensive experience in the field of biostatistics. Maria is currently working at Cytel as an Associate Director Biostatistics for Takeda FSP. Prior to this role, they held positions as a Principal Biostatistician and Senior Biostatistician at Cytel.

Before joining Cytel, Maria worked at PPD as a Senior Biostatistician for various therapeutic areas including Oncology, Immune system, and Cardiovascular/Circulatory. Maria also worked at PAREXEL as a Biostatistician, where they supported clinical trials in Rheumatology, Dermatology, Parasitic Diseases, Infectious Diseases, and Cardiology.

Maria's work experience includes roles at Jubilant Clinsys Inc. as a Biostatistician, Research In Motion as a Subscriber Analyst, and Cantox Health Sciences International as a Statistical Analyst. Maria also has experience as a Calculable Cost Analyst at Descartes Systems Group and as an Analyst at Gartner Lee Limited and Ebiz Professionals.

Throughout their career, Maria has been responsible for performing statistical tasks, verifying data consistency and quality, developing and reviewing study protocols, SAPs, DMC charters, ERM, and CSR. Maria has also worked closely with clients and internal cross-functional teams on project development. In addition, they have utilized various statistical models and knowledge of the business to support decision-making and deliver reports and presentations.

Maria Waliullah's work experience spans a wide range of industries, demonstrating their versatility and expertise in data analysis and statistical modeling.

Maria Waliullah obtained their B.Sc in Specialized Honors Mathematics from the University of Guelph between 1997 and 2001. Maria then pursued a Diploma in Applied Statistics from the same university from 2001 to 2002. Later, they completed their M.Sc in Statistics from the University of Guelph, graduating in 2006.
