Victoria W. (Tori)

Tori W. has a diverse work experience in the field of statistical programming. Victoria (Tori) started their career as a Senior Programmer Analyst at SRA International in 2009, where they created and maintained programs for statistical table, figure, and listing generation. Victoria (Tori) then worked as a Contract Statistical Programmer Analyst at Roh, Chapel Hill in 2010, where they were responsible for creating and quality controlling programs used to create SDTM datasets.

Tori then moved on to Pharmanet/i3, where they worked as a Senior Statistical Programmer from 2010 to 2012. In this role, they performed analysis, programming, and validation to deliver integrated data bases to clients. Victoria (Tori) also managed and led programming personnel on multiple projects and participated in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies.

From 2012 to 2014, Tori worked as a Statistical Programmer at Biogen Idec, RTP, NC, where they supported statistical programming activities in the production and quality control of analysis datasets, tables, listings, figures, and electronic submission components. Victoria (Tori) used SAS software and ensured milestones were met with good quality.

In 2014, Tori worked remotely as a Contract SAS Programmer at TKL Research through Green Key Resources. Victoria (Tori) provided statistical programming support to clinical trials for regulatory submission and supported data management and biostatistics teams.

From 2015 to 2017, Tori worked as a Clinical Programmer at Cd3 Inc., where they designed and programmed clinical data structures for drug development projects and studies. Victoria (Tori) also provided data in various formats and applications to data management customers.

In 2017, Tori joined TalentMine as a Contract Sr SAS Programmer Analyst with Triangle Biostatistics for Fred Hutchinson SCHARP Division. Victoria (Tori) gathered and documented requirements, developed study case report forms (CRFs), generated and maintained standard datasets, and created programs for resolving discrepancies between protocol expectations and data.

From 2017 to 2021, Tori worked at IQVIA as a Senior Statistical Programmer, leading project teams for the SDTM, ADaM, and outputs of Real-World & Late Phase Research division projects. Victoria (Tori) supported data preparation and transfer, ensured high-quality deliverables, and actively participated in teams.

From 2021 to 2023, Tori worked at Caidya as a Manager, Statistical Programming, where they managed a group of direct reports in the statistical programming group. Victoria (Tori) implemented management decisions, planned resources, and participated in project proposal development.

Currently, Tori is working at Cytel as a Principal Statistical Programmer, where they provide leadership in promoting communication and information flow, leads statistical programming activities on FSP projects, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. Victoria (Tori) also mentors and provides input into documents produced by other functions.

Victoria (Tori) W. pursued their education in the field of computer science and programming. From 1985 to 1987, they attended Phillips Junior College, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Data Processing and Computer Programming. Building on this foundation, they then enrolled at The University of Southern Mississippi from 1990 to 1992. During their time there, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Computer Science, specializing in Computer Programming.
