Yin Kean

Yin Kean has over 20 years of work experience in the field of biostatistics. In 1996, they began their career as a Staff Research Associate (Statistician) at the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center at the University of California, San Diego. They continued in this role until 1998 when they transitioned to the Alzheimer's Disease Cooperative Center, also at UC San Diego, as a Staff Research Associate (Statistician). From 1998 to 2001, Yin Kean worked as a Biostatistician at Ligand Pharmaceuticals. They then moved to Neurocrine Biosciences where they held the positions of Biostatistician from 2001 to 2003 and Senior Biostatistician from 2003 to 2008. In 2010, Yin Kean joined Optimer Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Biostatistician. They advanced to the role of Manager, Biostatistics from 2011 to 2011, and finally to Associate Director, Biostatistics from 2012 to 2012. After their time at Optimer Pharmaceuticals, Yin Kean worked at Shire Pharmaceuticals as an Associate Director, Biostatistics from 2012 to 2014. The following year, they became an Independent Biostatistician at Healthcare Guidance. Since 2015, Yin Kean has held the position of Senior Biostatistician at Cytel. In 2018, they were promoted to the role of Associate Director, Biostatistics.

Yin Kean completed their Master's degree in Biostatistics from San Diego State University. Yin attended the university from 1992 to 1995.
