David Mainwaring

David Mainwaring has over 25 years of work experience in the biotechnology industry. David currently serves as a Principal Scientist at Cytiva since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Scientist at Pall Corporation from 2020 to 2023. David also held the role of Senior Scientist at Pall Life Sciences from 2015 to 2023. Before joining Pall, David worked as a Senior Group Leader at UCB from 2006 to 2015, where they were also a Senior Principal Scientist. Their early career includes working as a Senior Scientist at Lonza Biologics from 1998 to 2006.

David Mainwaring completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Plant Sciences from The University of Manchester in 1994. David then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biotechnology at the same university from 1994 to 1998.
