Kashan Shaikh

Kashan Shaikh is a seasoned professional in systems engineering, specializing in cell and gene therapy, with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as a Senior R&D Manager at Cytiva since April 2020, Kashan has also held positions as Associate R&D Manager and Systems Engineering Lead within the same domain. Prior experience includes working at GE Healthcare as a Systems Engineering Lead for cell and gene therapy and at GE Global Research, where Kashan contributed as a Senior Engineer and R&D Project Leader for microsystems, earning the Whitney Technical Achievement Award in 2010. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, along with a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech.
