Maria Ortiz-Rivera

Maria Ortiz-Rivera, PhD MBA, is the Scientific Support Leader for the US/Canada region at Cytiva, a role held since April 2020 following a 15-year tenure at GE Healthcare. At GE Healthcare, Maria led a substantial Scientific Support Team, enhancing service delivery and customer satisfaction across the region. Previous positions include leadership roles in technical support and field applications within significant life science companies, comprising a strong focus on molecular biology and genomics. Maria holds an MBA from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a PhD in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Rutgers University, and a B.S. in Biology from Universidad de Puerto Rico.
