Abel Batty

Abel Batty is a Research Scientist I at CytoImmune Therapeutics since July 2019, contributing expertise in designing novel CAR constructs and performing in vitro cytotoxicity assays, cytokine analysis, and flow cytometric analysis, while also assisting with IND testing and submissions. Prior experience includes serving as a Laboratory Technician, where responsibilities involved conducting in vitro experiments to design and characterize CAR-NK and CAR-T cell constructs under the supervision of the principal scientist. Abel's career began as a Research Assistant at Nationwide Children's Hospital from July 2017 to June 2019, where microbiological experiments were independently designed and carried out, alongside managing laboratory operations and safety. Abel Batty holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from The Ohio State University, completed in 2017.
