Martijn van de Bunt

Martijn van de Bunt has a diverse work experience spanning different organizations and roles. Martijn started their career as a research student at the Academic Medical Center and later became a postdoctoral researcher at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics, University of Oxford. Martijn then joined the University of Oxford as a Novo Nordisk Postdoctoral Fellow. After that, they worked as a Junior Research Fellow at St Anne's College, Oxford in the Centre for Personalised Medicine.

Martijn then transitioned to Novo Nordisk, where they held multiple roles, including Consultant and various positions within the Bioinformatics & Data Mining department. Martijn served as the Head of Department, Director of Bioinformatics & Data Mining, and Project Director of Real World Data & Science.

Currently, Martijn is employed at Cytoki Pharma as the Vice President of Research. It is worth noting that the start and end dates for some roles are not provided.

Martijn van de Bunt completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Medical Sciences at the University of Oxford from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in Medicine from the University of Amsterdam, studying from 2003 to 2009.
