Erik Sandoval

Erik Sandoval is a researcher with experience in investigating cellular and molecular responses to exercise in human skeletal muscle. Erik has worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at California State University, Fullerton, where Erik characterized muscle fibers and as a Senior Research Associate at Cytokinetics, focusing on lead optimization of compounds for cardiovascular and neuromuscular diseases. Sandoval also had research internships at Whitman College and Stanford University, exploring the effects of mitochondrial dynamics in mice hearts.
