Ilona Kifer

Ilona Kifer has an extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Ilona is currently the Director of Data Science at CytoReason, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the VP of Computational Biology at Fore Biotherapeutics from March 2021 to May 2023. Ilona also served as a Senior Machine Learning Researcher at Whatify from September 2020 to March 2021. Ilona'sprevious roles include Senior Data Scientist at Aiola (formerly Altimo, GNG analytics) from July 2018 to September 2020, and at GNG analytics (which was acquired by Altimo) from July 2018 to October 2018. Ilona also worked as a Data Scientist at Microsoft from March 2015 to June 2018, and as a Research Scientist at Agilent Labs from February 2011 to March 2015. Ilona started their professional career as a PhD student at Tel Aviv University from October 2005 to October 2010. Prior to that, they worked as a Programmer and Team Leader at IDF and Israel Defense Forces from 1995 to 2000.

Ilona Kifer completed their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computational Biology at Tel Aviv University from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1998 to 2004.
