Fernando Mazzoni

Fernando Mazzoni is a skilled Data Scientist currently with Cyvl.ai since August 2022. Prior to this, Mazzoni served as a Graduate Researcher at the University of Massachusetts Lowell from November 2018 to September 2022, where responsibilities included developing agent dynamics simulations for search and rescue systems, modeling multi-particle systems, and implementing Machine Learning techniques to analyze LIDAR images using Keras. Earlier experience includes an undergraduate research fellowship at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian, where Mazzoni analyzed X-ray data to study the evolution of Dwarf Carbon stars. Mazzoni holds a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, obtained in May 2021, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from the same institution, completed in 2019.
