Steve is one of the preeminent figures and leading thinkers in the domain of information security. He is the world’s first Chief Information Security Officer and has graced the role of CISO at various multinational companies including Citigroup, JP Morgan, and Merrill Lynch. Steve was appointed at the Financial Services Sector Coordinator for Critical Infrastructure Protection by the Secretary of the Treasury.

In his remarkable tenure, Steve has served as a Founder and Chairman of the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC), Chairman of the American Bankers Association (ABA) Information Systems Security Committee, Vice-Chair Financial Services Roundtable-BITS Security and Risk Assessment Committee, and Member of both the New York Clearinghouse Banks Data Security Officers Committee, and the Securities Industry Association Information Security Committee. He is currently the founder and president of Security Risk Solutions LLC.
