Edmundo Miranda, CPA has over 20 years of work experience in various accounting and leadership roles. Prior to their current role, Edmundo worked at Spirit Airlines, where they served as Vice President and Controller, overseeing strict compliance with regulations and leading budgeting and forecasting efforts. Edmundo also played a crucial role in the company's initial public offering, successfully executing an equity transaction of $187M and eliminating all balance sheet debt. Before joining Spirit Airlines, Edmundo worked at KPMG as a Manager in the Audit department and served in the United States Army Reserves as a Specialist. Edmundo started their career as an Assistant Accountant at Gilman & Negrini CPA, P.A. Edmundo Miranda, CPA, holds a Master of Science degree in Taxation from Florida International University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting at Florida International University from 1997 to 2000. Edmundo also has an undergraduate degree in Accounting from The Ohio State University, where they studied from 1994 to 1996. In addition to their degrees, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the state of Florida in June 2003.
