Bikram Shrestha is a seasoned scientific researcher currently affiliated with CzechGlobe since 2017, focusing on snow leopards, mammals, and orchids. Shrestha earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Wildlife Biology from Charles University during the years 2014 to 2018, where the dissertation examined the implications of snow leopard distribution, population dynamics, landscape genetics, and prey preference for conservation in Nepal. Prior experience includes serving as a Program Coordinator for Snow Leopard Conservancy from October 2010 to April 2014 and as a lecturer in Wildlife Biology at Tribhuvan University's Institute of Forestry from August 2010 to 2014. Shrestha also conducted research on snow leopards and their prey species while associated with various NGOs and INGOs between 2004 and 2014, and holds a Master of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology from Tribhuvan University, completed from 2001 to 2003.
