Rebecca Lawrence

Rebecca Lawrence is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in public finance law. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel at D.A. Davidson Companies since April 2021, Lawrence previously held the position of Senior Counsel at Ballard Spahr LLP from June 2020 to April 2021. Prior to that, a significant tenure at Piper Jaffray lasted from January 2008 to January 2020, where responsibilities included Managing Director and Associate General Counsel focusing on public finance, sales, and trading. Lawrence also worked as Assistant General Counsel at RBC from February 2005 to January 2008 and began their career as an Associate Attorney at Dorsey & Whitney LLP from October 2001 to December 2004, specializing in bond and underwriter's counsel. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School and two Master's degrees in Public Administration with a focus on Accounting and Finance from Indiana University Bloomington.
