Joseph H. Marturano

Joseph H. Marturano has over 40 years of experience in the planning, design and construction of wastewater treatment facilities, with specific expertise in wastewater treatment plants, sewer systems, pumping stations and water treatment systems. As a Senior Vice President at D&B, he leads the firm’s odor control projects that include assessments, studies, air dispersion modeling and permitting, feasibility studies and cost-effective analyses of alternative odor control technologies, community relations programs and design and construction services.

Mr. Marturano’s experience serves as an invaluable resource for project teams, as he provides guidance during design and construction, coordinates progress meetings, formulates construction schedules, ensures project quality, and fairly resolves any labor disputes during construction. He also heads up the firm’s trenchless technology projects and has helped D&B receive national recognition as a top trenchless technology engineering firm.

As a respected member of the engineering community, Mr. Marturano has authored papers and provided presentations to the Water Environment Federation and Rutgers University. He is also an active member in several professional societies, including the New York Water Environment Association, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Construction Specifications Institute and the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers.
