A Senior Associate of D&B, Thomas P. Fox, P.G. has over three decades of experience that covers a broad range of soil, surface water, bedrock and groundwater investigations and remediation projects at hazardous waste and petroleum contaminated sites. He is a registered professional geologist in New York State with a focus on contaminant hydrogeology. Through this experience, he has become adept at managing complex multi-disciplined projects, serving as client and legal counsel liaison, negotiating contracts and developing bid specifications for subcontractor procurement and management. His responsibilities also include negotiations with regulatory agencies and developing cost-effective remediation strategies for sites containing a wide array of contaminants. Mr. Fox also manages a staff of several geologists and environmental scientists in the Environmental Remediation Division.
Mr. Fox’s technical proficiencies have grown to encompass the planning and management of site investigation and remediation assignments, such as remedial investigation/feasibility studies of state and federal Superfund and Brownfield sites. In addition, he has completed and managed more than 160 environmental assessments and audits for commercial and industrial properties, and has managed and performed many Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments and underground storage tank closure programs for clients that range from private land owners to large public agencies. He is currently an active member of the National Groundwater Association and the Long Island Professional Geologist Association.
