VP, Marketing & Communication at D-Box

Stéphane Vidal is the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at D-Box. Stéphane has over 20 years of experience in marketing and communications, with a focus on the technology industry.

Stéphane began their career as a director of marketing at Vantrix Corporation, a Canadian telecommunications company. Stéphane then moved to Bell Canada, where they served as the General Manager of Marketing for the Small and Medium Business market in Quebec and Ontario. After a year and a half at Tata Communications, Stéphane returned to Bell Canada as the Director of Wireless Services.

In 2007, Stéphane left Bell Canada to join 2020 Inc., a Canadian software company, as Head of Marketing and Communications. Stéphane then moved to MaisonBrison, a Canadian homebuilder, where they served as Vice President of Marketing and Communications for five years.

In 2013, Stéphane joined XMedius, a Canadian software company specializing in secure communications, as Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Stéphane was also a shareholder in the company. In March 2020, XMedius was sold to OpenText and Stéphane transitioned to their current role at D-Box.

At D-Box, Stéphane is responsible for developing and executing the global corporate strategic marketing and communication plan, including the digital marketing strategy. Stéphane has also launched two new iterations of the corporate website and managed traditional and digital global marketing campaigns. Under their leadership, website traffic has increased by 450% and sales have increased by 1,000%.

In addition to their work at D-Box, Stéphane is also an active board member of the Association québécoise des technologies and the Fondation La Factry.

Stéphane Vidal has a Bachelor degree from Université Laval in Finance from 1984 to 1988. Stéphane also has a license from the Canadian Securities Institute in Finance Services from 1990 to 1991. Stéphane is currently working towards becoming a certified administrator of corporations from 2022 to 2023.
