David Jacobus

David Jacobus has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. David started their career as a Head Lifeguard at the University of South Carolina, where they managed a team of lifeguards and conducted training to ensure safety standards were met. David then worked as a Health Enthusiast at The Vitamin Shoppe, providing exceptional customer service and promoting healthy goals for customers.

David also has experience in the finance industry, working at Vanguard in roles such as PI Brokerage Investment Professional, Retirement Specialist, and Triage Analyst. In these positions, they assisted clients with investment decisions, resolved complex retirement issues, and identified system issues that impacted client experience.

Additionally, David has worked as a Professional English Instructor at Threshold Training Associates s.r.o., Leipzig English Sprachschule, and VIPKid. In these roles, they created and executed tailored courses to improve language skills, maintained class attendance records, and delivered engaging lessons for students of different age groups.

More recently, they worked as a Sales Representative at Trinity Solar and as a freelance Professional English Teacher, where they maintained a book of clients and provided customized English-learning courses.

Currently, David is working as an Account Executive, Membership Sales at D.C. United, where they are responsible for sales of season ticket memberships, group packages, and suites. David builds strong relationships with potential members and provides excellent customer service.

Throughout their various roles, David has showcased strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a client-centric approach in resolving issues and meeting customer needs.

David Jacobus completed their Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Affairs, with a focus on Russian Studies, at the University of South Carolina from 2011 to 2016. In September 2016, they obtained certifications for Series 63 and Series 7 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
