Amir Shapira

System engineering at D-Fend Solutions

Amir Shapira has over 30 years of professional experience in the technology industry. Amir began their career as a HW engineer at Daisy in 1990, followed by a HW engineer role at RND in 1991. In 1994, they joined RAD Data Communications as a HW Team Leader, then a Project Leader, and eventually an Associated VP of R&D, where they were responsible for managing a large R&D group of 110 engineers. In 2011, they became the CTO of IPgallery, where they were responsible for defining and leading the development of a mobile data offload solution to Wi-Fi. In 2012, they co-founded ShiraTech, where they built and led the R&D, as well as designed and developed ARM-based platforms for IOT and Industrial applications. In 2017, they joined SolidRun as a Program Manager. In 2019, they began working at Ness Digital Engineering as a System Engineer, where they were responsible for system of system solution definition and implementation, as well as leading the successful integration process. In 2021, they started working at D-Fend Solutions as a System Engineering.

Amir Shapira attended Tel Aviv University from 1986 to 1989, where they obtained a BSC in engineering.
