Compiler Engineer at d-Matrix

Andrew Cain has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Andrew began their career as an Intern at Indra, assisting Electronic Engineers and technicians in designing and producing aircraft navigation systems. In 2015, they worked as an Intern at Vehicle Interior Protection Company, where they set up and implemented a product database. In 2017, they worked as a Full Stack Developer at Acoustic Research Labs Pty Ltd, building web-based applications to automate business processes. Andrew also worked as a Mathematics Tutor at JS Core Education. In 2020, they worked as a Machine Learning Intern at CSIRO's Data61 and as an Academic Lab Tutor at the University of Sydney, where they were responsible for teaching and evaluating 250+ undergraduates. Currently, they are working as a Compiler Engineer at d-Matrix Corporation and as a Software Engineer at Accenture.

Andrew Cain completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours Class 1) in Computer Engineering from the University of Sydney between 2017 and 2020. In 2018, they attended the Summer School Program at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, studying China’s Politics, Diplomacy and Economic Development. Andrew also obtained a Highschool Certificate from Epping Boys High School between 2011 and 2016 and a Cert III in Information Digital Technology from TAFE NSW between 2014 and 2015, with a focus on Information Technology.
