Lorenzo Voli

Lorenzo Voli is a seasoned aerospace professional with extensive experience in software engineering and team leadership. Currently serving as the Spacecraft Avionics SW Lead Engineer at D-Orbit since March 2020, Lorenzo leads a team of seven in the development of avionics software for the Iride constellation satellite, while also managing subcontractors to meet project timelines. Previously, Lorenzo held roles as Senior Embedded Software Engineer and Embedded SW Engineer at D-Orbit, contributing to the establishment of a software verification and validation (V&V) team and leading flight software development for the ION spacecraft. With a background in software development at TXT e-solutions for cockpit displays and experience as a Software Test Engineer at Teoresi S.p.A, Lorenzo has demonstrated expertise in both agile methodologies and cross-functional team coordination. Lorenzo's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Space Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
