Stefano Landenna

Stefano Landenna has extensive work experience in the aerospace industry. Stefano is currently working at D-Orbit as the Head of the Program Management Office, responsible for overseeing project results and managing customer and subcontractor relationships. Prior to this, they held the role of Project Portfolio Manager at D-Orbit, where they developed resourcing strategies and consolidated program and project methodologies.

Before joining D-Orbit, Stefano worked at THALES ALENIA SPACE for over a decade, holding various positions. Stefano served as a Senior Program Manager, leading programs in the Earth Observation and Science domain. Additionally, they worked as a Business Development Manager, responsible for capturing business opportunities and managing proposal preparations. Stefano also held roles as a Program Manager and Project Manager.

Earlier in their career, Stefano worked at Alcatel Alenia Space Italy as a Project Manager and at Laben S.p.A as a System Engineer.

Stefano Landenna obtained a Master's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from Politecnico di Milano from 1993 to 1999. Later, they also earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from IRI Managment in 2005 to 2006. In addition, Stefano has certifications as a Certified Senior Project Manager - IPMA Level B® from the International Project Management Association, obtained in December 2017, and as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI), obtained in June 2012.
