Mary Pettit

Mary Pettit, JD, MBA, currently serves as Attorney for Multifamily and Commercial at DHI Communities, Inc. and DHI Commercial, Inc. since January 2022. Previously, Mary held the position of Attorney Advisor at the U.S. Small Business Administration - Office of Disaster Assistance from 2020 to February 2022, and served as Assistant General Counsel at Victron Energy, Inc. from 2019 to 2020. Mary owned and operated Mary Pettit Law PLLC from 2017 to 2019, and worked as a Senior Attorney at Kane Russell Coleman & Logan, PC from 2012 to 2017. Earlier experience includes serving as Regional Corporate Counsel at Lehigh Hanson from 2007 to 2012, Senior Counsel at Pier 1 from 2002 to 2007, and Associate positions at DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary and Jenkens & Gilchrist from 1998 to 2002. Mary holds an MBA from Texas Christian University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law Houston, along with a BS in Economics from Texas A&M University.
