Gabriel Poulin-Lamarre began their work experience in 2011 as a Research intern in physics at National Research Council Canada. Gabriel then continued their academic journey, working as a Research intern in electrical engineering at CRN^2 at Université de Sherbrooke in 2010. In 2012, they pursued a role as a Masters Student at Université de Sherbrooke and the National Research Council. Their career took a significant turn in 2014 when they joined D-Wave, starting as an Experimental Physicist and progressing to roles such as Senior Experimental Physicist, Staff Scientist, and ultimately reaching the position of Principal Scientist in 2023. Their professional experience showcases their growth and expertise in the field of quantum computing and experimental physics.
Gabriel Poulin-Lamarre completed a Diploma of college studies in Sciences, letters, and art at Cégep de Sherbrooke from 2005 to 2007. Gabriel then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Physics under the coop regime at Université de Sherbrooke from 2008 to 2011. Finally, they obtained a Master's degree in Physics from Université de Sherbrooke in 2012-2013.
